I obtained my real estate sales person license in the fall of 2008. I practice real estate under the brokerage of Alaska Frontier Realty owned by Barb Smith in Wasilla, AK. Originally I started out at Century 21 in Big Lake, because that was the only office in Big Lake. Having been a small business owner most of my life I found the franchise requirements too constricting. I also found that the majority of their services do not work very well for Alaska's Real Estate.
I am a bang for the buck kind of gal, so I moved on and created a real estate website of my own. That website is a work in progress (all websites are). The actual real estate inventory is updated every 24 hours. I am still experimenting with some of the other content.
One thing I decided I did not want to do, was to have a lengthy homepage talking about how wonderful I am. I think it is kind of tacky when real estate agents ramble on about how great they are. And so many of them think that their way is the only right way.
This is not rocket science folks. People have been buying and selling real estate for a long time. There is a lot of information to go through and things can get sticky, though. It really is in people's best interest to have a Realtor working for them. I am here to help you get the t's crossed and the i's dotted.
