My name is Tanya Morris. I have been a Realtor in Alaska since February of 2008. I have lived in Alaska since 2002. I have spent most of my life running and owning small businesses. Know your rights...
If you are ready to buy a home or sell your home in Alaska, please strongly consider getting your own Realtor. It is important to have someone looking out for your rights and interests. It can make a huge difference. Be very aware of "neutral agency" relationships. In a neutral agency relationship, the primary goal of the agent becomes "closing the transaction." Agents often make up to %100 more commission utilizing this agency relationship. If you are buying a property in Alaska, you want to make sure that the agent is showing you ALL of the available properties for sale. If you are selling a property in Alaska, you want to make sure that the agent is advertising your property to ALL interested buyers. If you would like to investigate agency relationships for your self, feel free to contact me.
